Longing for summer's touch

I wanted to sit down this afternoon and see if I could still draw something from scratch and finish it within the same day and without loosing interest. Apparently I still can i'd not consider this as 'finished' or detailed as most of my other work though. A good line-art helps hide that.

This image came to me unbidden, a feeling of longing. The winter has felt long and relentless up here in northern Canada... I long for the greenery, sun and warmth that summer brings again.
Yet we are only just now beginning to melt into the horrid mud slurry that is the transition from winter to spring.

This is a representation of myself as an anthro grizzly bear, enjoying the sun and forest.
